The Waterfront and Beach

⭐️Beach access is via a walkway down from the property. The steps have been worn over time by tidal activity. Use the walkway carefully, wear appropriate footwear, and take your time. The beach is worth it.

Good to Know

⭐️This is a three-story home with multiple flights of stairs. Guests should be fully comfortable navigating stairs throughout the stay.
⭐️The retaining wall is a viewing feature, not a place to sit or stand. Children must be supervised near the wall and water at all times.
⭐️Tide levels change quickly. The beach can go from accessible to submerged within an hour. Check local tide charts to plan your time on the beach.
⭐️Two kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are provided for guest use at no additional charge. Guests use the kayaks at their own risk. Life jackets must be worn on the water.
⭐️The walkway leading down to the beach has steps that have been worn by tidal erosion over time. Exercise caution, and wear closed-toe shoes with good grip when accessing the beach.
⭐️Parking is in the driveway, which fits up to 4 compact vehicles or 2 Large SUVs.
⭐️Rideshare is a great option.
⭐️Our street is a narrow residential street. Drive slowly when approaching the property.

You have access to the entire house, with the exception of a couple of closets that are locked for supply storage.

Our street is a quiet residential street, narrow by design and easy to navigate once you know it. The driveway fits 2 larger or 4 smaller vehicles comfortably. If you are traveling in a large SUV or truck, rideshare is a smart call. Uber and Lyft are both active and reliable in Tacoma, making it easy to leave the car behind and enjoy the area without the hassle of parking.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

⭐️Quiet hours are 10 pm to 9 am out of respect for the neighborhood.
⭐️Travel insurance is recommended for any changes due to weather, illness, or unexpected travel disruptions. We follow the cancellation policy at the time of your booking.
⭐️A rental agreement will be sent prior to check-in covering house rules and shared responsibility for amenities. ID Verification may also be requested. A 3rd party application is used for this through 2 factor authentication to keep your data safe. We don't handle your personal data.
⭐️Damage insurance is provided with your rental for accidental damage. You are still responsible for any intentional damage per the rental agreement.
⭐️There are lots of stairs throughout the 3 story home and down to the water. You must be able to negotiate stairs to thoroughly enjoy this home.
⭐️The master bedroom fireplace is seasonal.
⭐️No candles or open flames of any kind permitted anywhere in the home
⭐️The 3 TVs are Amazon Prime TVs which are limited as to what apps are able to be watched. If watching TV is important to you, you may want to bring a way to connect your device to the TV so you can access your preferred apps.
